The next story included is about an event from the summer of 1997. I had a past life regression that had the potential to clue me into the fact that I was on a healing adventure, but I still had no inkling. This regression took me to The Crystal Palace.
The Crystal Palace.
It was the summer of 1997. My daughter and I had just moved into a house in the suburbs of Austin and money was tight so I was only in the mood for a short vacation. We had met a lady a year previously who lived at Canyon Lake and who conducted past life regressions. We went there for the weekend and each got a regression session in exchange for organizing her kitchen. I mostly wanted the regression for my daughter since she had never had one before. She was about 13 at the time. The regression itself seemed anticlimactic. Neither my daughter nor myself really felt that we had done anything other than make it up. My daughter found herself in an old farmhouse surrounded by fields of corn. She went into the corn and that was about it. If indeed this was a past life it could explain her passion for corn on the cob. Or of course it could be the other way around. My regression also seemed as if I could have made it up. I was not even able to regress into a past life. Instead of seeing a previous life I went to this place in the sky that I described as a Crystal Palace. There I saw lots of beings who appeared as dark swirls of energy in human shape with light coming from their hands. There were hundreds of them moving about in the palace and I had the sense that this was a place of learning. I barely ventured into the front door because I had such a sense of not being as good as these beings. Many feelings of insecurity and not belonging surfaced for me during this regression. When it was over I had the sense that I had just made it all up and I didn't think about it much again. Until the next year…
